Terms and conditions

Assigning: There is no restriction imposed on .CN. Specific restrictions are however applied by the .CN registry concerning the use of .CN. See our contract for details.
Syntax: from 3 to 63 alphanumeric characters or a hyphen (other than in first or last position). Two character-domains can be available upon request (special rates), pleadse contact our support team.
IDN: not managed by Gandi
Registration period: from 1 to a maximum of 10 years
Subdomains available: No

The procedure

Registration: During the registration of a .CN, the DNS of the domain must be correctly configured so that it can pass the registry's zonecheck; your domain has to be previously declared on the DNS you use.
Renewal: It is possible to renew your domain name up to 5 days after the expiration date. In case you do not renew your domain, it is possible to ask for a restoration of your domain within 15 days (please contact our customer care department to do so).
