Terms and conditions

Assigning: .ASIA domains are reserved to physical and moral persons having at least one contact (owner, administrative, technical, or billing) that has legal residence in the Asia zone.
If you do not have such a contact, Gandi has a partner in Australia that offers for free to provide you with a technical contact at the registry.

Procedures

Renewal: The active duration of a .ASIA domain may not exceed 10 years. Domains can be renewed for any number of years within this limit.
Disputes: http://www.icann.org/udrp/
Change of owner: The current procedure consists of the new and current owner accepting the change by e-mail.
Change of registrar: You need to unlock the domain, recover the authorization code, and then launch the procedure at your new registrar. A Form of Authorization (FOA) is then sent to the e-mail address of the current domain name owner. On average, this procedure can take from 1 to 10 days.
