Procedures

Renewal: Renewing a .ch domain for one year prolongs the registration of the domain for one year.

Change of owner: The current procedure consists of having the current and new owners accept an e-mail confirming the ownership change.
Change of registrar: You must begin the process at your new registrar. A confirmation e-mail will be sent (FOA) to the e-mail address of the current owner of the domain. On average the processing time for this procedure can take from 1 to 10 days.
DNS Change: DNS Changes may take from 6 to 12 hours.

Change of owner: A form must be sent to Switch. Please contact our customer care department for each ownership change request.
Change of registrar:. Once the transfer request has been registered by Gandi, an email is sent to the domain holder by Switch. This email must be confirmed for the transfer to succeed.
