Terms and Conditions

Assigning: .COM.CY domains are open to business entities registered in Cyprus, the administrative contact must be a citizen of Cyprus. If you do not have a local presence, Gandi can provide one (please contact our Corporate team). The maximum number of domain names that can be registered by the same person is limited to 10
Syntax: from 3 to 63 alphanumeric characters or a hyphen (excluding in the first and last place)
IDN: no
Registration period: 1 year, please note that the expiration date of your domain name will be always on December 31, consequently the first year registration period is between the effective registration date and December 31st of the same year
Subdomains: yes, Gandi provides only .COM.CY

Procedures

Registration:
During the registration process, the local persons will have to indicate:
- the entity registration number of the holder of the domain name
- the full name and the citizen number of the local administrative contact
Furthermore, once your registration request made, you will have to send us the following documents:
- if you are a local entity, a copy of your entity registration certificate
- the letter of appointment of the representative in Cyprus filled out and signed
- the letter confirming your registration request filled out and signed (with the entity stamp)

Please note that the modifications of contacts and DNS are charged
