Full ownership of your domain name
At Gandi, the Customer is the owner of the domain name. At Gandi, we are simply the technical intermediary, acting on behalf of the Customer. The Customer can delegate the administrative, technical, payment and billing aspects of the domain to third parties. (For contract holder rights see Section 1 of Gandi’s contract)Full DNS management
Gandi makes its DNS available to you and allows you to manage your DNS zones via our admin interface. You may enter up to 10 DNS servers for your domain, and if you have your own server, you may use Gandi’s DNS servers as primary or secondary servers. Gandi also gives you the ability to record your server names with the registry.Web/e-mail forwarding management
Gandi offers you direct forwarding (either 301 or 302) or masked forwarding (using frames) for hosts who do not provide DNS hosting (Tripod...). You may also point any of your subdomains to an address of your choice.GandiBlog - 1 free Blog

If your domain is in the “Status: active” state, you are free to transfer your domain from Gandi to another registrar at any time, without hinderance or additional cost from us. To prevent unauthorized transfers of your domain name, you can choose to block transfers via your account’s admin interface (not available for .FR, .BE, or .EU).Protection of your e-mail address in the Whois
In order to protect your e-mail from spam, Gandi lets you hide your real e-mail address in the Whois database by replacing it with one that Gandi has encrypted.
