Terms and Conditions

Assigning: anyone can register a .ES.
Syntax: from 3 to 63 alphanumeric characters or a hyphen (other than in first or last position).
IDN: yes
Registration period: 1 to 5 years
Subdomains available: .com.es, .org.es

Procedures

Registration: creation delay = at least 6 hours. If the owner is an individual, the registrant contact and the administrative contact must be the same.
Renewal: late renewal is possible until 15 days after the expiration date. It is not possible to restore a deleted .es domain name.
Disputes: domains ; phishing
Change of owner: the current and the new owner must validate the process by e-mail.
Change of Registrar: the process must be ordered online on Gandi's website, and validated on the Registry's interface. The transfer does not include any renewal.
Contacts change: proofs of identity can be requested for any Contacts change.
