Assigning: .HU domain names are open to citizens of the European Union, individuals holding a permit for domiciliation in Hungary, entities registered or established by virtue of law in the territory of the European Union and owners of a registered trademark granted protection rights in Hungary. In all cases, a local presence in Hungary is required for the administrative contact, Gandi can provide you with a proxy
Syntax: from 2 to 40 alphanumeric characters or a hyphen (excluding in the first and last place)
IDN (accented domain names): yes (á,é,í,ó,ö,?,ú,ü,?)
Registration period: 1 year
Subdomains: yes (.CO.HU)

Procedures

Registration: please indicate the fiscal number (VAT) for legal persons or the ID number (passport number …) for individuals, of all contacts associated with the domain name. Furthermore, you must specify nameservers (DNS) that are correctly configured for the domain name that you intend to register
Renewal: no later than 32 days before the expiration date
Disputes: Legal disputes (Chapitre V)
