Terms and Conditions

Assigning: .COM.TR domains are open to persons with a significant connection to Turkey. The domain name must correspond to the corporate name or to the trademark belonging to the legal person who registers the domain name, or to the first name and surname of the individual who registers the domain name
Syntax: from 3 to 63 alphanumeric characters or a hyphen (excluding in the first and last place)
IDN (accented domain names): no
Registration period: 1 year
Subdomains: .COM.TR (others subdomains are not managed by Gandi)

Procedures

Registration: Once your request has been made, a form will have to be filled out and sent to Gandi with documentary evidence, within the given deadline. Depending on the category of your domain name, the required documents are:
- for individuals: an ID copy (passport, ID card ...)
- for legal persons: a copy of the incoporation certificate of the company or a copy of the trademark certificate
- an evidence of your link with the Turkey
Furthermore, you must specify nameservers (DNS) that are correctly configured for the domain name that you intend to register
Renewal: no later than 32 days before the expiration date
Change of ownership: the owner change of a .COM.TR domain name is authorized only in case of assignment of the rignt to the name composing the domain name
