Custom DNS configuration interface

In order to point your domain name to your host's mail server, you need to make a manual MX entry in the zone file as directed by your mail host or as needed.

Please note that due to the vast subject of zone file configuration Gandi's support staff can only reply to questions related to the services offered by Gandi, and not your DNS' technical configuration; if you are unsure of what to put in your zone file, it is advised that you not touch it, because any error can cause all your web services to become unavailable.

When you are done, click on "Submit" to continue. You will then see the following message if you are using our default forwarding servers:

Click on "Continue" to apply the changes and switch to Gandi's custom DNS if you are not already using them.

Please note that this will undo any transparent URL forwarding that you were using, you will now need to enter an A field entry to point your domain to your website, in order for your website to "work".
