Forwarding your domain

Note: Before you can take advantage of Gandi's domain forwarding service, your domain must use Gandi's new DNS:

a.dns.gandi.net
b.dns.gandi.net
c.dns.gandi.net

You can verify this by looking up your domain in Gandi's Whois search engine. If necessary, you may update your DNS by following the instructions on this page.

If your domain does not use Gandi's new DNS, your web forwarding will not work, even if you have correctly configured it on our website.

How can I forward my domain to a website?

There are a couple of different ways that you can set up your domain so that visitors be forwarded to the content that you want them to see. This can be done by:

• Forwarding your domain or subdomain to a pre-existing website
  
  
• Pointing your domain to your web host's servers (options 2 and 3)
