Answers to Your Questions
Gandi's Web Forwarding Management Interface
The same form is used for adding and editing your web forwarding addresses:

There are three things that you need to specify for your forwarding to work:
1. Type of forwarding:
This is where you can specify the type of forwarding that you want to use. Gandi provides you with three different types: temporary, permanent, and masked ?.
If you want your domain name to remain in the web browser's address bar after the domain has been forwarded to the other address, choose: "Masked":

2. Subdomain:
This is where you must indicate the address that you want to forward.
- Add "www" to forward: "www.yourdomain.com"
- Leave empty to forward just your domain: "yourdomain.com"
- Add "*" to forward all subdomains of the domain (including www)
- Add any other subdomain you would like forward!
Note: if you want to forward both: http://www.yourdomain.com and http://yourdomain.com to another website...you will need to create two forwarding addresses, one with a "www" in the subdomain box, and one where you leave the subdomain box empty.
3. Forwarding address:
Finally, you must specify the target address.
Begin by choosing the type (http://, https://, or ftp:// ?). The standard setting is "http://", so you can just leave this bit alone unless you need to change it for a particular reason.
Next, in the empty text box, enter the address of the website that you want your visitors to be forwarded to.

When you are done, click the "Create" button to add the forwarding address.
That's it!
