How do I change my domain technical parameters online ?
You can update your domain details online. This kind of changes requires a few days propagation, in order for the whole Internet network to update.You just need to go on Gandi's website to modify your DNS.
If you need some support or advices about the changes you want to make, you can contact our technical support team by e-mail.
Note that you can not use your Internet Provider DNS and Gandi DNS (forwarding services, personalized DNS zone file) at the same time. You have to choose between Gandi DNS or your Internet Provider DNS.
The owner and the administrative and technical contacts have the rights to modify technical parameters. To do so, click on the Manage tab. Authentify with your Gandi handle. Select the concerned domain name, and on the bottom of the page, use the "Technical Parameters" part :
- Click on the "Modify" link and type your web host service DNS
- After validation, Gandi will maintain your web forwarding until the new servers are properly propagated. If your website is no longer available, you have to contact your web host service.
- If there is any access problem concerning the website that is linked to your domain name, after the modification, you will have to contact your web host service technical support.
