Answers to Your Questions
Can I hide my website's real address?
Yes! There are a couple of ways to do this:
- Using our Gandi's domain forwarding service: Our URL forwarding service is masked, meaning that your domain name will stay in your web browser's address bar, even though you have been forwarded to a different website.
- use the DNS services of your web hosting company: to point the domain name to your website's IP address, or to get an invisible web redirection (with a proxy or frames). In this case you can update your domain name's settings via your "Manage" page.
- If you have a static IP address: and if you know how to configure a DNS zone (Bind file), you can use our Zonefile DNS management service. Click on the concerned domain and use the "Web forwarding" part. Free of charge, this service enables to point your domain name directly to your static IP address.
Log in as administrative contact of the domain name.
