Does Gandi provide a secondary nameserver ?

You have your own primary nameserver, but you need a secondary DNS. Gandi can provide this service to you, with no extra charge (you only pay for the domain registration).

In your "Domains" page, select the domain in question. You will have instant access to the administration of your domains here. In the section, "Technical Settings", click on "Modify" in the "Technical" column.

Then, simply add the following nameserver (as secondary):

ns6.gandi.net 217.70.177.40

Note that in order for this to work, you must first have the possibility of including ns6.gandi.net in the zone, as it will be requesting zone tranfers from the primary nameserver.

After you submit your form, our DNS server will automatically be updated (if the primary server is correctly configured). IT will be ready to use by your domain within 24 hours of your modification. It is periodically synchronized with the list's primary nameserver.
