What if the spam sender can not be reached?

As with all ICANN-accredited registrars, Gandi has to make sure that the Whois information is valid.

If you believe, for a domain name related to the spam your received, that the Whois information is false, you can ask for an update of the personal data for this domain by contacting our Customer Care department.

If, after a contractual 15-day delay, the personal information is not updated, then the domain name will be suspended (HOLD status). That means that the e-mail addresses and the website will no longer be operational.
