Answers to Your Questions
Using the DNS of your web host
REMINDER: Your web host gives you these DNS after you have created an account with them, and after you have told them the name of your domain. If you cannot access your website or if your website is offline, please contact your web host, as their DNS are responsable for your site and e-mail.
To add or update your existing DNS to those of your web host, begin by logging into your domain's control panel with the owner, administrative, or technical Gandi handle (remember, if you have more than one domain, you need to click on the domain in your list of domains).
Do you have problems logging in ?
Then, look to the "Technical Settings" section towards the bottom of the page...

Click on the link that says "Update" in the "Technical" column. This will bring up the page where you can specify the names of the nameservers (DNS) that your web host has given you.

That is all!
Your change will not take affect immediately. Please wait at least six hours before checking to see if it works.
If the DNS update does not work after one day (your website is not visible on the internet, or your e-mail does not work), please:
- Verify that you have entered the DNS names just as your host gave them to you
- Verify that you have uploaded your content to your servers
- Check that your account is active with your web host
- Contact your web host and see if everything is OK with your DNS or their servers
