How it works
Our offer of community-based servers creates an enormous range of options for you as a customer. In order to bring the maximum power of our dedicated servers to all, we have associated them with the idea of communities. These communities allow Gandi's customers to provide peer-to-peer assistance depending on everyone's level of experience.
Community-based tools
You are free to choose whether or not you wish to participate in the Gandi community. As a new customer, you will be invited into the Gandi iwi, which is the main community. You will also have the opportunity to found your own community.
Each community can choose their own look and feel, and use the following tools:
An IRC server
IRC servers let you chat with other Gandi customers.
A newsgroup / discussion forum
You can visit our discussion forum via newsgroup or our web interface.
Open online documentation
Many tutorials are added directly into our wiki by members of the Gandi community.
Community-to-community help
Because our servers can be used in a limitless number of ways, a single community might not have the answer to all your questions. Therefore, we have put together a community-to-community exchange service that lets you post your questions to members of a community that is more experienced in the subject.
