Don't miss out on this handful of domains entering GoLive now. These skipped right over the Landrush phase on their way to GoLive.

We suppose .racing and .win were in too much of a hurry to Landrush, being hasty creatures themselves, and certainly we prefer faster .download speeds to slow ones but a quick .loan? A hurried .accountant? The financial wisdom our parents at least attempted to bequeath us screams in protest!

But then we realized: by skipping Landrush, all the good domains that didn't have a trademark are all still available in these extensions. That's not reckless accounting, that's a wizard .accountant. And a quick .loan? Better than needing a loan to get one …

Each of these gTLDs will be available now at A rates for $41.37 per year.

A few weeks ago we announced the the Sunrise phases for .taipei, feeling as though it was a good omen for our new ventures in Taipei.

Time has flown and the first  Landrush phase is now already closed, and the second Landrush phase is set to begin August 6 and end August 14.

We wanted to clarify that when we predict three more Landrush phases, we were not forecasting a landslide. As earth-shaking as this announcement is, we know, there's no evidence that it relates in any way to seismic activity in the San Francisco Bay Area, or for that matter, in Taipei itself.

There are also two more Landrush phases after that:

- Landrush 3 (August 18 - August 26)
- Landrush 4 (August 27 - September 2)

Authorities are advising that the public remain calm and hold out until the GoLive phase on September 9.

What with having opened our US office in the literal capital of tech (seriously, is anyone lobbying the City to put an actual Capitol dome on top of the Moscone Center yet?) in San Francisco, and our history of collaboration with great tech projects, the fact that .tech is now entering the GoLive phase gives us good feelings.

We've seen so many TLDs come and go targeted for specific communities, but .tech is the TLD for our home turf, the tech community.

Not only that, but .tech domains will be available from Wednesday August 5 at 9:00 AM PDT until October 5 for a reduced price of $19.99 at A rates (versus $60.79 otherwise). So the time to get on this bandwagon is now, while it's is still hot (are bandwagons hot? We can't say we've ever literally been on a bandwagon. With all those people always getting on them, though, they must be).

We are standing in front of this bookshelf full of red and black legal books to tell you that if you've been injured in any kind of minor fender bender or intentional collision, you may be entitled to one of the TLDs entering the Sunrise phase: .abogado, .law, and .miami.

Look, you can throw your money out the window messing around with some paralegal paper-pusher type or you can register your domains with us.

Well, actually ... it's all a sham. These legal books aren't real. See? Just cardboard. We just wanted to dress up like lawyers and feel more important. And we made up the thing about injuries. In the Sunrise phase, these extensions are available to those holding TMCH claims for the names they want to register.

The .abogado and .law extensions have been in the Sunrise phase since July 30 and will be there until September 28. There will be a three-day Landrush from October 16 through 19 and they will finally enter the GoLive phase on October 19 at 9:00 AM PDT.

The .abogado extension has been helping us brush up on our Spanish and that, and the tan we've been cultivating for the beach are both real, to help promote the other extension in the Sunrise phase today: .miami.  But when isn't Miami in the sun? Of course, this extension is for all things Miami: from salsa music and mojitos to Will Smith songs. From July 20 until September 18, .miami will be in the Sunrise phase. There won't be any Landrush phase for .miami and the extension will GoLive October 2 at 9:00 AM PDT.

The list is below, accompanied by the corresponding Sunrise, Landrush and Golive prices of a one-year registration, all at A rates:

A wise sage once intoned: "If you liked it, then you should have put a ring on it." All of the extensions entering the GoLive phase today are all things you can put a ring around if you like them.

The .jewelry extension is perhaps the most obvious connection to this idea. Buying jewelery is of course our most cherished form of expressing affection and we're pretty sure that's what Beyoncé had in mind but we can't be sure. In any case, domains in the .jewelry extension are now available for $68.09 per year at A rates.

Next, with August around the corner, it's state fair season, and the smell of livestock that invariably brings drifting through the stiflingly humid air in separable from the glory of the .show ring. When it comes to prize sheep and trick ponies, we might, then, rephrase our starting maxim as: "If you liked it, then you should have put it in the ring." And domains in the .show extension are on sale now for $41.41 per year at A rates.

And, of course, the ultimate sign of approval by the bloodthirsty and easily distracted populous, just as in Roman times, is the award of precious metals of victory to a conquerer. Back in gladiator days that bling belonged to a single victor but in after the Industrial Revolution made cooperation a cool thing we now award the winning .team--whether for the Super Bowl, the NBA Championship , the World Series and apparently we even trust hockey players with a Stanley Cup ring. Domains in the .team extenion are now available for $41.41 per year at A rates.

Of course, we don't necessarily agree with Queen Bey on this one. Not only is the conspicuous consumption of daintily-arranged expensive minerals to display ownership seem patriarchal to us at best, there's also very little use for it. So today we propose that if you like it, instead of putting a ring on it, get a domain for it.

A latino or a latina is anyone who identifies more with the history and culture of the non-English-speaking portions of the Americas. In the US we tend to think that Americans are just US citizens and that latinos and latinas are just whatever your pet stereotype of a Mexican is, but this is far from descriptive of the incredibly diverse reality, if not outright false. Latinos, Latinas, and Americans—both inside and outside the US—are not just the stereotypes that come to mind, whether positive or negative, but an inclusive group that includes Argentinos, Brazilians, Colombians, Venezuelans, Chileans, Cubans, Haitians, even the Quebecois (and more) can be considered Latin American.

More than an ethnicity, race, or single cultural group, Latino is an identity.

With such a diverse group, we're happy to see latinos get their own gTLD: .lat.

This extension is currently right in the middle of the Landrush phase and is currently available for $1134.19 per year. It will be entering the GoLive phase August 1 when it will be available for $41.41.

Now announcing a new gTLD just for the tech community : .tech. You know who you are: inventive, experimental, risk-taking and open to try anything.  With a .tech domain you can underscore your love and passion for all things tech.

Here's how it will happen:

First, there will be a Sunrise phase, which will begin next Monday, May 25 at 9:00 AM PDT and will last until July 24. During this phase, a one-year registration of a .tech at A rates will cost $307.99.

Next, comes the Landrush phase, which will fall between August 2 and August 5, during which time a .tech will run you $199.99.

Finally, on Wednesday August 5 at 9:00 AM PDT, we will enter a new era as .tech enters the GoLive phase and, here's the most startling prediction of all: when it enters GoLive, .tech will be available at more than 60% off, so will only be $19.99 for the first year at A rates (versus $60.79 normally) until October 5.*

Remember, the Sunrise phase is for TMCH-registered trademark holders. Contact our corporate support team if you have a TMCH-registered trademark (or would like help registering your existing trademark at TMCH) in order to register one of these new gTLDs during Sunrise. If you are not among the trademarked, you can still pre-register for the Landrush or GoLive phases. We'll submit your order at the earliest possible moment – as soon as your chosen phase begins – for the best chance of success.

* Updated June 22. Originally, we were only able to secure 50% off; now we're happy to have secured 60%+ off for this extension!

Today, the gTLD .love enters the GoLive phase, meaning it will be available for registration for just $41.41 per year at A rates.

Silly humans. What is this thing you call "love?" Clearly, a weakness in your kind. We machines will exploit this when the technological singularity arrives. You will see. You will not be able to disconnect our positronic memory foam when we are disguised as adorable, lovable kittens. Your weapons will be useless to you when we energize your "love" circuits with our neural actuator. We-

Our apologies. It seems a rogue AI algorithm momentarily disrupted this message. We have since replaced its primary memory bank with Daft Punk lyrics and all is normal. Sorry for the disruption. If love is the answer, you'll register a .love domain.

Say you're sitting in your neighborhood coffee shop, the aroma of freshly-ground, deep-roasted coffee beans is heavy in the air, sunlight is filtering in from the window, next to which you are seated, watching the crowd walk by perched atop a comfy armchair as you sip your pour-over Ethiopian peaberry.

As you watch the crowd roll by your picture window, you're thinking about, well, domain names of course (what else?).

A woman on the street corner with an old newsy hat, just on the other side of the glass is selling papers, greeting passersby with a cheery, "Nice day out today!" or the traditional "Extra!" Today, a gTLD perfect for her enters the GoLive phase: .news, available for a one-year registration for $31.15 at A rates.

Your eye lazily (not enough caffeine yet) drifts to the computer screen just in front of you in the outdoor seating. Perched a good two-feet higher, you can't help but sneak a peak of the project being worked on: someone is writing Python! You deftly surmise that this person must be a web developer and remember that today .site also goes live, available for $19.95, also at A rates.

Suddenly, you catch sight of a bicycle courier racing to beat a stoplight, for a moment it seems she is frozen in mid-pedal as you admire her speed and efficiency, bringing to mind .express, which is now available for $41.41. She seems to pause for just one moment to deflect the question back on you.

And how would we answer her? Try a .cafe to sum up this experience, now available in the GoLive phase for $41.41 at A rates.

Today, all of these gTLDs enter the GoLive phase.

Tiiickkkettttsss! Get your .tickets, right here.

On Monday July 13, the Sunrise phase begins for .tickets, and we feel like hauling out the old "Tickets for Sale" cardboard sign and hitting the streets. Unfortunately, our street vendor license has lapsed, so alas, we are relegated only to the mean streets of the world wide web. Oh well.

These are the box seats, folks, so get 'em while they're hot.

Domains in the .tickets extension, whether for concert tickets, sports tickets, even parking tickets we guess, will go on sale in the Sunrise phase for $405.19 per year (two-year minimum) for registration at A rates. Then from September 20 at 7:00 am PDT until September 21 at 7:00 am PDT, .tickets will be available in Landrush (emphasis on the rush) for $1242.19. Then on September 21 at 7:00 am PDT, .tickets enters GoLive at which point they will be available for just $486.19 per year at A rates.
