Gandi supports alternative projects

“Gandi is, and wants to remain, a credible alternative for those that want to have a presence on the web. Our customers help us to be useful in this mission as we support companies that, whether internet-based or not, have embarked on this adventure despite the presence of well-established monopolies.”

We provide this space on our website for all the interesting projects that have been presented to us, or that we have decided to highlight. We have sorted the projects in two different levels, depending on their maturity or potential:

1st-tier projects

Today, Gandi supports the following projects, either financially, technically, administratively, or morally, which deserve to be in the spotlight:

Search criteria

Among the many factors of a project that determine whether or not we get involved, three will be mentioned here:

  • Concrete. You already exist and your project is sustainable or will truly have the potential to be so in the short term. More generally, you have built a well-known, high-quality project, but need some assistance.

  • Open. We want to support projects that affect as many people as possible, or allow a community to expand their horizons.

  • Alternative. You fight against a dominant "mass" commercial supply, that floods the market and does not leave any room for creation, and freedom of choice. You see, you might find this funny but this type of situation really makes us mad…

If you think that your project fits this description, we would be happy to hear from you. Just send us an e-mail at: alternatif@gandi.net . We will do our best (depending on the number of letters) to answer your proposals.
