As technology advances the ways we connect with one another and increases the quality of those connections, the planet seems to get smaller and smaller on the one hand, and on the other our knowledge and understanding of even the smallest corners of the globe has become radically deeper.
The extension .global is emblematic of these changes: at once a universal signifier for those whose organizations or lifestyles extend across the globe, while also opening a new space for any one individual to elaborate their own expression of what these new possibilities mean.
For our part, we're happy to announce that this May, from May 1 through May 31, 2017, the first year of a new .global domain is on sale for $12.00 and then $95.34 at A rates after that*.
What does .global mean to you?

It's always with great remorse that we make this type of announcement but effective 23 January 2017, in order to comply with our contractual obligations, we have increased registration and renewal prices on 76 TLDs, on all price grids.
The reason for the price increase largely has to do with the fact that we pay most new gTLDs in US Dollars and exchange rates have recently fluctuated such that we were compelled to increase rates on affected TLDs.
Generally, we don't adjust our prices based on minor exchange rate fluctuations, however the variations this time were too significant to be able to avoid adjusting our rates. So it's out of necessity that we are notifying you of the following new rates on the following TLDs:
Gandi is no huge, multi-national corporation. And maybe it's just because we’re an Internet company, but despite that, we’ve always been aware that the little things we do in our community, locally, can have a big impact, globally.
In fact, it's probably because we’re not a behemoth organization that we can appreciate this nuance.
Well, from February 1 until February 29 at 2:59 PM PST, (23:59 Paris or Luxembourg time, 6:59 AM Taiwan time) .global domains, a TLD with a worldwide scope, will be available for $20.00 per year. These domains normally cost $95.34 per year at A rates, so all together that comes to about 70% off.
This promotion is for those with the vision to think globally. But we don’t see why it can’t be for those who act locally as well. And in our experience, the two go hand in hand.
.global domains are entering the GoLive phase tomorrow, Tuesday 9 September, at 8am PDT (15:00 UTC), when they will become available for registration by all at standard prices.
Note: You don't need to wait until GoLive begins to register your domain: we strongly encourage you to pre-register now. We will then submit the order on your behalf at the earliest possible moment, in the order they are received. As always, if the registration is not successful, we will automatically refund your prepaid account (and will refund to your external funding source upon request).
The GoLive prices of a one-year .global registration at A rates are as follows:
