Terms and Conditions

Attribution: .SE domain names are open anyone.
Syntax: from 3 to 63 alphanumeric characters or hyphen (other than in the first or last place)
IDN (accented domain name) : not available at Gandi
Registration period: 1 year minus 2 days
Subdomains: not available at Gandi

Procedures

Registration: for the registration of a .SE domain name, the registry requires that you provide a personal ID number:
- if you are located in Sweden: a valid Swedish personal or organizational number (6 digits, dash, 4 digits)
- if you are a company located inside the European Union but outside Sweden: your VAT ID
- if you are located outside of Sweden and outside EU: your ID number (Civic registration number, company registration number, or the equivalent).
Renewal: from 90 days before the Expiration date, and until 3 days before the Expiration date.
Disputes: Disputes ; ADR ; Arbitrators
Transfer (change of Registrar): with an auth code, supplied by current Registrar or by the Registry IISThe transfer to Gandi does not include any renewal (remaining period is lost). Trade (changing the owner during a transfer) is not available.
Change of Ownership: with a form, to fax to Gandi.
Deletion process: see the table in our wiki. Quarantine: can last from 5 until 25 days.
