Terms and Conditions

Assigning: .tr domains are open to anyone. Registration will first be reserved to some registrants who already have registered a SLD with the .tr Registry.

• This phase begins on February 14 and ends on May 14, 2024.
• It is open to holders of a domain name in a second-level .tr extension wishing to register the same domain name in .tr.
• Domains will not be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, but according to the following order of priority:
  • kep.tr,
  • av.tr,
  • dr.tr,
  • com.tr,
  • org.tr,
  • net.tr,
  • gen.tr,
  • web.tr,
  • name.tr,
  • info.tr,
  • tv.tr,
  • bbs.tr,
  • tel.tr.
• The allocation procedure will take place from May 14 to June 14, 2024.

Syntax: From 3 to 63 alphanumeric characters or a hyphen (excluding in the first and last place), in which Turkish characters (ğ, ı, ü, ş, ö, ç) are also allowed.

IDN (accented domain names): Yes, but only for .com.tr and .net.tr.

Registration period: 1 to 5 years.

Second-level extensions: Yes

• .com.tr, .net.tr, .org.tr, .web.tr, .bbs.tr, .biz.tr, .gen.tr, .info.tr, .name.tr, .tel.tr, .tsk.tr and .tv.tr ;
• .av.tr, .bel.tr, .dr.tr, .edu.tr, .gov.tr, .net.tr, .org.tr and .k12.tr.
