Why get a .in domain name?
Created in 1989, .in is the geographic domain ending for India. Until 2005, .in registrations were restricted, but have since opened up. Add to that the fact that in 2010, the registry INRegistry, who is in charge of .in, launched a promotional campaign to encourage the adoption of this domain ending. The result was a half million domain names that today are still registered thanks to this ccampaign and .in is now a prominent domain ending used in every part of the country and beyond.
