.ORG.MT: 域名拥有人必须有非营利机构（例如：慈善组织、基金会）
.NET.MT: 域名拥有人必须提供网路相关的服务（例如：ISP）
.MT 二级域名将于 2017 年 12 月 1 号起至 2020 年 11 月 31 日止开放具有优先注册资格的人注册：现有 .MT 三级域明得注册人（.com.mt / .org.mt / .net.mt ）只要没有冲突的情况下就可以注册相同名称的二级域名。若发生冲突时，则没有任何人可以注册这个二级域名。只要冲突持续，即使超过了优先注册其，仍然没有人可以注册。
