Assigning: .RS domain names are open to everyone, however the administrative contact must be a citizen of Serbia or a legal person registered in Serbia. If you do not have a local contact, Gandi can provide one (please contact our Corporate team)Syntax: from 2 to 63 alphanumeric characters or a hyphen (excluding in the first and last place)
IDN: not provided by Gandi
Registration period: 1 to 10 years
Second-level extensions: yes, Gandi provides .CO.RS (open to legal persons) and .ORG.RS (open to non-profit organisations)
Procedures
Registration: during the registration process, you will have to indicate for the holder of the domain name and the administrative contact:- for legal persons: your company registration number and your tax number
- for individuals: your identification number
DNS: you must specify DNS that are correctly configured for the domain name that you intend to register. DNS must be active no later than 3 days after your registration request and throughout the registration period of your domain name, failing this the Registry may delete your domain name
