Terms and Conditions
Assigning: .KR domain names are open to legal persons and natural persons having an address in Republic of Korea. If you do not have an address in Republic of Korea, Gandi provides you automatically with a local presenceSyntax: from 2 to 63 alphanumeric characters or a hyphen (excluding in the first and last place)
IDN: yes
Registration period: 1 to 10 years
Second-level extensions: yes, Gandi provides .CO.KR, .OR.KR and .NET.KR
Procedures
Registration: during the registration process, persons having a local presence will have to indicate:- for legal persons: your business registration number
- for natural persons: your ID number.
Furthermore, for the registration of a .CO.KR, a .OR.KR or a .NE.KR domain name, or a domain name in IDN under .KR, the persons having a local presence will have to send us the following documents:
- for legal persons: your business registration certificate
- for natural persons: your ID document
- your address in Korean characters (preferably in Word document format)
